mulching ain't for wimps

Every year my family purchases a small dump truck of mulch, owing to Mom's love of gardening and flowers. Let me tell you, It's NOT EASY to move all that mulch. Pa offered to pay us this year to move it all! I'm not complaining. It's great to see all the gardens looking so beautiful when you're done! But, as I told my sister,

Mulching is your muscles reminding you, after the long winter, that they're still there!

We're almost done for the year. Only one bed left to mulch. Plus we added a lot of new plants this year. And pa put up an arbor and grapes (to grow up it) and pave stone steps. Our gardens look so B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!
